President, NextRadio & Broadcasters Traffic Consortium
Paul Brenner is Emmis SVP/CTO, NextRadio/TagStation and president of the Broadcaster Traffic Consortium, working to move radio from traditional broadcasting and business models to technology-oriented consumer solutions. His most recent leadership role is related to getting FM analog and HD Radio standard in smartphones (NextRadio) and using terrestrial radio with hybrid connectivity as the next generation of radio listener and advertiser engagement (TagStation). He also currently serves as president of the Broadcaster Traffic Consortium, a partnership of more than 24 radio companies throughout the United States and Canada, formed to distribute data and advertising via FM and HD Radio technology. Brenner was the recipient of the 2012 NAB Radio Engineering Achievement award for his work in developing the BTC.
