President and Co-Founder, Liquidus
Chris Carlton is president and cofounder of Liquidus. With over 25 years of experience as an art and creative director, Carlton has crafted award-winning advertising and technology solutions for a long list of clients. Upon the dawn of the Web, working as creative director for Playboy Enterprises, he was charged with bringing its catalog businesses online, as well as communicating the Playboy brand through Playboy.com and other online properties. After Playboy, Carlton joined forces with Todd Holmes at Drinks.com, where the two focused on developing the largest online retailer of wine, spirits, and beer on the Web. Later, and before starting Liquidus, Carlton spent time as a creative director for Ogilvy & Mather. At Liquidus, he has leveraged his creative and technology skills, overseeing the product roadmap, and has been principally responsible for helping diversify Liquidus products onto multiple screens and into multiple channels.
