VP/Measurement Innovation, Nielsen Audio
Ed Cohen is vice president-measurement innovation for Nielsen Audio, based in Columbia, MD. In this role, he works in multiple research fields for the company including connected cars, audio streaming measurement, cross-platform measurement, custom studies, mobile measurement, and other new initiatives. Before to joining Nielsen Audio’s predecessor, Arbitron, in 1999, he was VP/research for Clear Channel Communications. He has also worked for WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh, Birch/Scarborough Research, the NAB, and WSPA-FM in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Cohen has taught at both Michigan State University and Duquesne University. He holds a Ph.D. in Mass Media and a B.A. in Telecommunication from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from the University of South Carolina.
